I like Fall and Winter, they are my favorite seasons ^^I liked the fall weather friends episode with the cheating of Rainbow Dash
so i tried a picture with some fall scenery inspired by this episode.Done with Photoshop CS5 and WACOM Intous Tablet

I know it is not very original, but that wasn't my goal, i don't think that much about originality i just draw what i have on my mind

And liking open manes is all well and good, but with AJ... Ah cannot stress enough how much Ah prefer her hair done the way it is. It makes her special by comparison... all part of her being best pony and all

I'm sorry for the low rating, but there are reasons. SCIENCE!... er OPINIONS!
Vision: You have a full foreground and background which gives you a passing grade on this part. (Yes, 3.5 stars is a passing grade. Imagine it as a real grade: 3.5 x 20= 70, so about a C.)
Originality: The reason MLP got so popular is because of conflict. Here, I'll I see are two mares walking in the forest. Not much else happening.
Technique: This would have gotten a better rating if you did a proper horizon (i.e. have the trees fill the background like in a realistic forest) instead of having a column of blue. And I don't like the hair: it's too anti-gravity.
Impact: There's hardly any extreme emotion, and I can't even gander a basic story line for this piece.
All-in-all, I don't like it. But I'm not here to put you down, I'm here to help you up.
For the next piece, imagine a short story. Then take the most dramatic moment and start painting!

Wow, das sieht richtig genial aus! O: Mir stand da doch glatt der Mund offen
Mir gefällt die herbstliche Atmosphäre mit dem Hintergrund sehr, es fühlt sich sehr warm und friedlich an und nicht so grau, wie man meistens denkt, wenn man an den Herbst denkt
Und ich weiß nicht wieso, aber bei diesem Bild wirken die Farben viel kräftiger und lebhafter als sonst, aber vielleicht liegt das ja an dem helleren Hintergrund als sonst! Anfangs habe ich gedacht, du hättest weniger Texturen verwendet, aber jetzt beim Vergleichen scheint das doch nicht der Fall zu sein. Dennoch wirken die Farben hier "glatter. Zum Beispiel bei den Flügeln von Rainbow Dash, aber so ganz genau kann ich das auch nicht ausmachen ...
Jedenfalls, Hut ab, das Bild ist einfach Wahnsinn!

Ja das stimmt. Liegt wohl wirklich daran das ich diesmal versucht habe das ganze heller wirken zu lassen.
Das ist aber auch irgendwie ne Schwäche von mir das ich manchmal nicht genau weiss wie die Farben am besten zusammen passen. Hier ist mir das aber ganz gut gelungen.
Hab diesmal auch nen anderes Colorationsverfahren benutzt als sonst und das hat sich gelohnt ^^, werd das von nunan öfter benutzen.

This picture is absolutely beautiful! It has a lot of amazing detail! Rainbowdash's and Applejack's hair have so much detail! So does the grass, path and tree! This picture is another master piece!

Endlich mal ein Bild von dir mit meinen persönlichen lieblings Pony,mit offenen Haare,wie mir auffällt.Sieht schön aus. . : )
Ich bin auch ein großer Herbst Fan und mochte die Folge ebenfalls sehr gerne.
Es ist einfach schön die Freundschaft und Rivalität zwischen AJ und RD zu sehen und das Endszene war einfach super niedlich. ^__^
Kann es sein,dass du für Boden und Gras diesmal neue Effekte verwendet hast?

Jo ist das erste mal das ich AJ gemalt habe und ich finde offene Haare auch immer viel besser als gebundene.
Ein Winterbild werd ich demnächst auch mal machen, aber weiss noch nicht welche Charaktere gut zum Winter passen.
Neue Effekte nicht, aber ich habe vor kurzem neue tolle Pinsel für Photoshop gefunden mit denen ich im moment viel rumexperementiere
Ich benutze in allen meinen Bildern meistens nur den gaußschen Weichzeichner und natürlich Ebeneneffekte wie zb . "ineinanderkopieren" oder "lineares Licht" etc.

Ich mag beides eigentlich sehr gerne,aber es ist immer wieder schön sie auch mit offenden Haaren zu sehen. ^__^
Stimmt schon.Manche Jahreszeiten passen zu bestimmten Ponies besonders gut.
Frühling wäre für mich Fluttershy,Sommer Pinkie,Herbst AJ und zum Winter würde vielleicht Rarity ganz gut passen.
Möglicherwiese kennst du das Bild "Soviet Rarity"(Ich habe keine Ahnung,wie man hier richtig Links einfügt,sorry).Da sieht man Rarity ganz schön in einer Winterlandschaft.
Ich habe allerdings auch schon schöne Winterbilder mit anderen Ponies gesehen.
Könntest dich für jeden entscheiden. : )
Ich kenne mich bisher leider noch nicht so gut mit Photoshop aus,mir kam es nur etwas anders vor wie sonst,aber vielleicht lerne ich in meinen kommenden Schuljahr im Gestaltungsunterricht mehr darüber.
Soweit ich weiß werden wir dort zum Teil auch mit solchen Programmen arbeiten. : )

Ja stimmt Rarity passt perfect ^^ ich glaub das isses. Und ja ich kenn das Bild.
Es gibt auch noch andere gute Mal und Zeichenprogramme wie GIMP oder SAI. Das ist im endeffekt alles Geschmackssache.
Ich hab mir alles selber beigebracht. Gestartet habe ich damals mit Photoshop als ich Webdesign/HTML und PHP gelernt habe. Gezeichnet und gemalt hab ich bis vor 2 Jahren nur mit Bleistiften.
Irgendwann auf DA hab ich dann gefunden und war so sehr begeistert von seinen Bildern und das er mit 18 Jahren schon so gut ist. Dazu kam dann irgendwann MLP und mein erstes digitales Bild war eine total crappy Luna
Wenn das neue Pokemonspiel kommt wird auch wieder das ein oder andere Pokemon geben !

Bisher zeichne ich auch nur auf Papier.Ich bin allerdings immer noch dabei meinen Stil für mich zu entdecken und auszuprägen.
So etwas kommt vermutlich auch mit der Zeit,wenn man immer weiter zeichnet und herumexperimentiert. : )
Ohh.Auf die Pokémon Bilder werde ich mich auch freuen.
Ich werde mir demnächst noch eine der neuen Editionen vorbestellen.Bisher gefallen mir die Designs schon ganz gut(auch wenn ich mich mit dem Gedanken,dass es vermutlich noch mehr "Food-Pokémon geben wird nicht wirklich anfreunden kann).
