Description Hello! These are Polyforaminata, sesille inhabitants of sandy shoals of planet Temere.
Not much to say about these... they often grow 1 m high and they sometimes live in the intertidal zones.

When exposed from water or threatened they can hide their small photosynthetic appendages into holes in their shells.
Their young are actively moving and without a shell. they start to form one just after they find the best place to settle.

Questions are welcome

One small question: what happens when they die? Do the root systems decay and cause the polyforaminata to fall back into the sea, or do they just pile up in the intertidal zone?
