Okay, I was told recently by someone that they viewed me as a "chick artist." Well honestly I never really saw myself as a chick artist... Not because of some misplaced egotism or anything, but because it never really occured to me!Right now, I kinda thought of a themed portfolio, similar to Masamune Shirow's posterbook. (You know, the one with Wild Wet West, Galhound, and the like... Except less nudity.) I figured it might be kinda fun to do... No purpose whatsoever, other than to push myself and see what I can do. (And make a bunch of neat wallpapers I hope.) I figured I'd start with an old characrer of mine I hadn't drawn in a few years... Max Pneumatic. No story for her though... I figure that doesn't matter for a portfolio piece.
By the way, the pneumatic arm on this piece here took me longer to ink than most pictures take to complete.

Wow great work its definitely Shirowesque. Wow i can definitely imagine that the line are took forever. And all in all who doesn't like a pissed looking near naked chick with an arm that could demolish buildings

Hey this is really cool stuff! Lots of details, extremely clean lineart, great CG. There's lots of skills in this. The only thing I think can be improved in your style is the proportions, but not much at all. The nose and mouth are not in line with the eyes. I'd like to see her with a bit broader shoulder, a bit smaller head and shorter neck, but it's all minor stuff.
There's no focal point, I feel that she blends into the back too much with that arm and wings being the same color as the background.
Overall a very nice piece~
