I may have talked about this one before, so if I have, forgive me. If not, well, here's the real brief rundown of the character. I'm working on a new comic series here, and I thought I'd bring over a couple of my more favorite characters from the last comic series Shadowgirls. But as the comic will be about five years later, I wanted to age and mature those characters a bit.

Max here has been around for about 13 years now. Maybe a little more, I don't know. I have a few comics out there with her in it. Really small print runs, but I guess they count. (The artwork in the background was from those comics.) While it was absent in Shadowgirls, I wanted to bring back the giant arm sleeve, but instead of being a gunmetal gray, going for a dark gray, almost black to match the secret agent role she'd be playing. I never intended her to be an outright cyborg, but I guess that's part of the character now. I did want to keep the green dreadlocks and the single eye black (or green) under her left eye, to play off the asymmetrical look.
