Description Hades and Mr J, two of my favorite animated villains.

See that, Mr J is that awesome that he'll literally stare death in the face and laugh. And look, Hades just laughs back. Well what did you expect him to do? Cry?

Really pleased I finally figured out how to draw Hades right while still not straight copying from the movie. I draw Mr J so much I just drew him without any reference, but changed how I usually draw his chin.

Don't ask why Mr J's hair isn't catching fire from Hades's hair.

The colouring I am not fully thrilled with. I suck at digital colouring still but practice practice...and more ruddy practice.

Any way, this is basically fan girl love. These two have quite a following. Scary.

Hm, I dunno.  Something tells me Hades would just be too dismissive to bother fighting.

The initial idea for Hades was to be funny as well as menacing, so I wouldn't be surprised if Gerald Scarfe took inspiration from Jerry Robinson for the designs.
