Anna smiled quietly to herself as she took another bite from her croissant. As a few crumbs fell onto her white coat she brushed them off quickly, making sure to take a deep breath in that she looked upon the city she had come to love so dearly. It'd been far too long since she had gotten the chance to have a bit of time to herself. As she looked out from her favorite sest of her local cafe, nearly everything felt perfect. "FUCK!" Andrew exclaimed as he spat out the pastry. He had to stay focused. Every time he got distracted he felt his mind start to wander, felt himself becoming more like her. Even his most basic memories were starting to become fuzzy. What was his name Anya? Ava? The details were getting harder and harder to remember.

He checked his phone. Crap. It was nearly 11:30 in the afternoon. What had he been doing all morning? The last thing you remember was attending that business seminar. As he tried to zero in on his location or anything that could help place where he was, he realized that it was getting harder and harder to recollect. Maybe a sip of this tea would help.

As she took a refreshing drink of darjeeling Anna felt herself coming back to her senses. She chuckled to herself, thinking how silly she was to forget her daily pill. Madame Riz had warned her this might happen occasionally if she didn't remember. "A proper woman always takes her daily medicine", she had smiled sweetly to Anna the day she first moved to Grenoble. And ever since then she had felt closer and closer to her true self every day.

"That's much better", she sighed. Ana had so much to be grateful for. But most of all she was thankful that she could finally be what she always wanted: a whole new woman.
