What happens when the Phantom of the Opera meets Edward Scissorhands ... though I daresay he looks like a member of KISS or a mime from hell...Anyhow, this is my winning entry for the movie crossover phanart contest at Whee!
I figured that the Erik part of the character would be more violent than the gentle Edward half, hence the bloodstained 'hands'. I had fun doing this and I may write a little fanfic based on the premise, since ideas have been bouncing around in my head regarding a backstory for this bizarre crossover since I started work on the drawing.
The Phantom and Edward don't belong to me - but doesn't mean I can't play around with them in my imagination!

Actually, you have chosen 2 good characters to cross over, as both are outcasts because of their physical negative features. Erik was born with his face burnt, therefore, he fled to the catacombs of a paris opera house.
Edward, however, was originally a machine of his inventor's used to cut up vegetables and had turned him into a man. However, the inventor died before he finished him. Incomplete and alone, he lived in his inventor's decaying mansion.

It's beautifully done...the deep red of the rose matches the blood on the 'hands', and the folds in his shirt are so well-shaded. His yellow eyes also grab your attention when you click on this, adding to the 'horrorific beauty' of the piece, over all.
