Description
One of the concept ideas for my senior project exhibit. The essential idea is to portray the poor/hungry of the world - particularly the aspects of bodily emaciation and how all the lifeblood seems to have been leeched out of the body and now the only warmth resides in the drape. Halo originally added for graphical effect but obviously has taken on spiritual significance. Roughly based off a skeleton but still has a few anatomical mess-ups. Acrylic, pastel, charcoal, and pencil on two pieces of heavy drawing paper.Related content

I love the folds in the cloth as well as how you used the strookes to give you the bone effect. Great job

Madame, you always have such a way with composition and mood. I'm incredibly jealous, my dear. This is by far, some of the best work that you have done, even with the "anatomical mess-ups"::grins:: I shall wait dilligently for the actual Senior exhibition. The theme sounds utterly depressing and wonderful!
