Description

Carmen is a warrior, the strongest of the team. She is hot-headed, has a strong personality and sometimes can behave like a brat, but makes up for it with her big heart and bravery.

This project started as an idea of reimagining the world of the movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. We tried to take the essence of the movie (how teenage girls rely on their girlfriends to overcome the challenges of growing up; and the imporance of sharing, supporting and friendship) and place it in a totally different and fantastical universe, with warrior faries, mystical forests and wild monsters.

In our version of the story, teen fairies trained to protect their magical forest have to leave on separate “graduation missions” in order to come to adulthood, like a rite of passage of sorts. They are afraid to be separated for the first time ever, much like in the movie, so they create the Sisterhood as a way of coping with their fears and concerns for what the future holds.

This project is still in development, and we will keep posting updates as soon as they're finished!
