I would have cropped the windscreen out, but that's just my opinion.
It's my kind of visual impacting bright in your face shot.
Is the paintwork a deep kind of metalflake/candy burnt orange?

hmmm, not sure about the crop. the windshield allows for full detail of the mask and side view mirror. I think if cropped, the image would loose some depth.
I think the paintwork was as you describe. It was a really intense, deep, shiny orange. I only wish my photos of the wheels came out - white aluminum against this orange would have been a great contrast.
