It feels good to be drawing again. I really should get myself to draw more often, especially since I currently have a lot of free time. I need something to keep me occupied.

But anyway, since I'm still in a slight Happy Feet mood (mostly because I've been listening to the soundtracks for both the first and second films a lot lately), I decided to draw Mumble aka best penguin. For future reference, whenever I draw HF fanart, I'm going to draw the characters in my own designs (with alternative features like tufts of feathers that resemble hair) rather than their canon ones (similar to ), mainly for this reason: I want to make the characters look more diverse in design. Now don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to "fix" Happy Feet's style (I think the style of the movies are fine the way they are, and I understand that since HF has a more realistic style than most animated films, the creators can't exaggerate the character's designs too much and can add only minor differences like pattern designs and body types). I'm just doing this because I think it would make the characters more fun to draw.

I'll probably try to draw other HF characters in the future (I'll more than likely do Sven next because I love him so much. )

Fun Fact: I got this picture drawn, outlined, colored, scanned, and uploaded all on the same day. Hooray for accomplishments!
