Wow, another one of those comics, that are great at telling a story without words
The amount of panels you did is just right and makes the story flow nicely.
The really outstanding thing about this is the way you drew Scootaloo's expression in the last panel though.

that scene gave me hope, hope that one day in a future episode Scootaloo will fly, I really really don't want her to be disabled, she needs to achieve her dream.

I was so not okay... and okay with this scene. I get that this is heartbreaking, but it gives kids with real life disabilities a character to really relate to it... as much as I'd like to believe Scootaloo is just a "late Bloomer" I also like the idea that the staff was brave enough to do something like this with a character and still treat her no different than any other character... love the piece

I don't think she really has to be able to fly.
Maybe she can just accept her own talent at the moment. (After all, no pony in ponyville can use scooter better than her. I think her blank flank only accounts for that she hasn't yet realize that.)

She thought it was real but it turned out to be a dream. She was given hope only to have it yanked away by reality.

So why doesn't she just go back to sleep then? Laying in bed crying about it isn't going to allow her to fly. I doubt her idol Rainbow Dash knows how to fly, cry, and lay in her bed at the same time. I guess Scootaloo just isn't thinking rationally, hence the crying.Β

I think she's crying because she realises, that she can fly only in her dreams, not in reality, and that she propably won't be able to.

Because it's not real. Scootaloo's not sad because she isn't currently flying. She's crying because she is physically disabled and is incapable of flying. For a brief moment she thought she was able to fly only to wake up to her disability.

So she should go back to sleep then. If she's physically disabled in one world, she's obviously not in another if she's capable of flying there. Or is she convinced that the "dream world" simply isn't real enough for her?Β
