Description

You encounter another person's character in your travels, but something is awry! You strangers are being followed, but by who? Will you band together to help each other escape your mysterious pursuers, or see who runs faster?

"I am a paski of the Caandiyala subspecies. We've been spacefaring a little longer than humans...."

"Wait, did you say humans?! You mean those actually exist? They're nothin' but old myth where I'm from!"

Er... Yes... They're the only other sentient species...Er, I beg your pardon, but are you telling me that you are not human?"

"Nope! And I wouldn't wanna be! I hear they got rounded ears, so gods know how they even hear anything, and their hair is flat all the time! It can't even spike up for a small while! Not to mention that they don't use Elements at all, I mean, how're they supposed to survive if they are basically powerless? I suppose they could use swords and weapons, but what if they have none of that? I mean you have your thumb claw, could you imagine being unarmed all the time? Scary thought!"

Oh Malotz, you're such a talkative, irritating soul. But we love you <3

Malotz's second challenge!~ On his way down the mountain he crash-lands in front of Kayahan (~wyrd66 's OC) here, and they get caught up with some bandits that they have to take out. Malotz They decide to take a boar to Lang Chi instead of walking becuase they're both fairly tired at this point, and it's approaching evening. Malotz discovers that, because of Hetherv's nature to make magic wonky, his Wind Element isn't nearly as stable, so he's going to have to practice a whole bunch in both swordsmanship and trying to improve his Element. They eventually make it to Lang Chi where Malotz probably proceeds to hold a friendly interrogation on a human on what they're like and then to get plenty of much-needed rest! He also earns himself a nice cut on his forehead from the fight.

So about this picture, I'm proud of that boar, anatomy errors aside. I don't normally draw things like that so being the first time I really attempt a boar this is... pretty ok. xD I actually didn't want to spend too much time on this picture because I wanted to have fun with it, so there's not near the level of detail that I would try and get into normally. Also I'm pretty sure that saddle is too big, but I don't caaaare, Malotz and Kayahan wanted personal space. xD And Lang Chi looks funny. OH WELL.

Kayahan was a BLAST to draw! :'D Difficult, but a lot of fun. I love the paski species <3
