Ok....
I finally get the time right now to finish a drawing I wanted to do since I saw the movie "RIO" such a great movie btw... not disney, but totally awesome! Ok so first time "painting" with my tablet! it feel so good! love that style! I hope to keep doing it more often!
Ok... so bye bye! Until I get back from Europe!
P.S. Im not really happy with the background... if u have a suggestion will be nice!

VISION - 4 stars
I love that you chose to depict Blue when he was a baby bird - that scene in the beginning of the movie, beginning with the song in the jungle and ending with Blu finding a home in Minnesota.
ORIGINALITY - 4.5 stars
Continuing my sentiments from "Vision," the fact that you chose to depict baby Blu rather than fully-grown Blu sets your piece apart from other Rio fanarts (not to mention the whole "cuteness factor" that I love to see).
TECHNIQUE - 5 stars
Your blend of brushes, colors, and shading is enough to earn a whopping five stars, but you definitely sealed the deal with the background. The colors blend well with each other and with the colors used to paint Blu, the brushwork is realistic enough to be traditional painting, and, perhaps most importantly, it's subtle. There's nothing worse than a loud background distracting from an otherwise beautiful piece.
To put it concisely, you did a fantastic job! Keep up the good work.

I love this piece. Blu it so cute! I love the texture of the background and Blu himself. The detail you put on here is very nice! I like it! You can really tell that you have worked hard on this piece. It shows a lot.
My favourite thing is the eyes. They make Blu look so cute! I really love that the most! The eyes also make Blu look so lively. It really sharpens his expression. He looks very happy because of the eyes. Oh! And it adds cuteness!
I really dislike the bottom though. The way it fades out. It makes this piece look unfinished, like you just forgot about it or got lazy or something.
I also have an issue with the background. The blue at the top makes Blu's feathers pop and stand out. I wish you didn't change the colour because it kinda sucks the life out of Blu. The top looks so vibrant and then it fades out to this saturated kind of yellow.
Again, I liked this piece very much. I think it was very well done. I wish to see more of your artwork overtime and I hope this will help you improve.

The picture is perfect! I love the way Blu came out, almost exactly like the movie to me! I also think the colors are approprut...apropre...approp...The colors match his theme. He is a baby so nice warm colors go perfectly with it.The feathers came out amazing!I am speechless, they look real and the shading really helps. Good Job!
