If it's not displaying in good detail I recommend zooming in or downloading etc!Character art I produced of my character Takar, a revamped version of an old character. I saw a few hobgoblins in Baldur's Gate 3 and I adored their unique high nose shape, I really wanted to draw it and thought it would suit him (he was originally a part-orc). I haven't seen many with facial hair so that's perhaps artistic license on my part haha.
Takar was originally a level 8 paladin of Torm (you can see the gauntlet emblem on his shoulder), the deity of self-sacrifice. However, he's now reverted to a level 1 barbarian after becoming an oathbreaker/fallen paladin, as he did something particularly selfish to save his family. Now his wife and newborn baby are his motivators. However, he's still a pretty selfless guy, and still recognisable to some for his formerly good deeds, a bit like a local hero who went missing. I wanted to keep his sacred gear, however it would be unfair after his level reduction, so they're only cosmetic. His holy sword is now shattered and improvised into a spear; he's missing parts of his armour, likely after having to sell them for resources. He's a very stoic and slightly intimidating guy, but is actually very charitable. NPCs preying on his generosity is quite common.
