Well, since nearly everyone has pointed out the awesomeness of the armored spine, I'll just praise something that you've subtly added to this. The background.
It was not necessary yet it's because you added texture to it that the character herself looks even more eye-appealing. Always gotta love the subtle touches that help enhance the artwork.
