Description
His armor glistened in the sunlight-
Porcelain blue lion heads mounted on his shoulders,
Representative of the courage he possessed;
And ornate vipers running along the length of his body,
Illustrating to others his cunning and wits.

You could always find him by her side;
Whether it be at an illustrious event,
Or just traversing the halls of the castle.

Many viewed him as the greatest knight in the land,
And therefore was the perfect man to protect the princess;
But she knew him as much more than her protector.

He was always there to lend an ear in uncertain times;
He made sure his armor would never rust
For when she needed a shoulder to cry on.
