Painting this was both incredibly frustrating and deeply, therapeutically enjoyable.Critique and comments are most welcome.
... And I do not know my own way to the sea
but the saltiest sea knows its own way to me...

I did lose myself in it - for several days
Actually, I know what you mean and it's really a matter of shapes. On the largest scale the piece has four rough areas.
Then within each of those areas there are several distinct shapes, and within those shapes there are other, smaller shapes, like a fractal.
So I started with large, rough shapes, then just refined each one and then refined each one's inner components and that's it - just keep at refining. It all becomes very meditative after a while.

thought of pouring color on canvas first - which i actually love doing and which can cause similar effect - but reading you obviously did that with brushes increased my attention... very beautiful result you achieved and love also the short piece of poetry

I would love to try pouring paint but I don't have a proper studio yet, I just paint in my study at home so I can't be flinging paint around like that

She is a little screechy at times, but her music can be very beautiful and is basically poetry put to music.
