The sea draws me.I paint it
My second seascape.Β I think an improvement over the first, but, as always, critique is sought and very welcome.
The Sea
Oil on Canvas 16 x 20 inches
Wave after wave will flow with the tide, and bury the world as it does.
Tide after tide will flow and recede, leaving life to go on as it was.

I love the textures in this, both in the breakers and in the sky! Β You know, digital art can be great, but it's hard to beat oil on canvas when it comes to expression and emotion... Β Bravo!

I agree - digital art fascinates me and I enjoy the relatively quick and visually stunning results you can get, but painting with oils has an almost ritualistic feel to the process and it grabs a hold of me in mind and soul in a way that I never expected.
