thanks man - i wanted to show the cost of the war. well, actually i started on this one with no idea it was Ender, but then when i put the two reversed halves together there he was.

i have been toying with some ideas about poetry discussing the ideas card fans out in the ender series for years. how many have you read?

i've read most of the Ender series - but i must admit it get's worse in the latter installments. Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead are in class all by themselves - genius . I think Card is milking it now. I liked his Prentice Alvin series but other than that I can care less about his other 'Mormon's in space' type books.

fertile ground for poems i'd suspect - but the copyright stuff would scare me off.

i am just dealing in general concepts and i loved the homecoming series mormons scare me, but i love card
i am reading his take on the moses story atm: the stone tables.

i will agree he has a tendency to milk an idea too far sometimes, but conceptually his is amazing.

thanks N - you might like the Ender's Game sequel - Speaker for the Dead - better, it's a more mature book.

cool yo - Ender is a sci-phi character from a series of books by Orson Scot Card. He's got a messed up personality
