I really really love this! First of all, I am really partial to vertical horizon and water shots, because they're a step away from the ordinary. And I really love how I thought the stick was a surfboard or something from the little thumbnail, and now I see it's soemthing else entirely! That makes it great, and not just another 'lol hot guy on a beach' shot. The reflection in the water is also really lovely, I didn't notice until I zoomed in...you've also really captured this awesome gold color in the sky and the water...plus the two lines of incoming waves seemed to line up just so perfectly! And like I said, there are so many beach shots that I usually find them boring, but it's the little things that add up here and make this rock! (I mean, sheesh, look how much I typed...)
Blah blah I'm going to be honest and say that the only thing that bugs me slightly is how the sunlight seems to make his ram look like a stick - but obviously, you couldn't do much about that.

When my sister was little, she would pick little fuzzballs out of the carpet and run around with them, mashing it inbetween her fingers. She loved them!

However, I would play with contrast a bit and make your brother completly black against the background.
