So I joined Flight Rising during the previous registration window a month ago, and gosh i kinda love itAnd today, Monday 17th, you're getting the chance to join too! too late
Shortly said, it's a site/game thing about dragons. They are colorful, there are several different species of them, and you can breed them.
My username is Magdaneela on there (juust like on tumblr and instagram, haha), in case you feel like putting in whoever referred you! (you may also add me, of course.)

As for this drawing itself, well.. This is Sparrow , a coatl of mine. I've had her since she was a little hatchling. c:
I may or may not draw and color more of my own dragons later at some point, so you may want to watch out for that, haha. sorry

I hear so much about FR and was never sure how all the art-selling worked D: Do people just sell fanart of each other's dragons, or are they original designs or something? i've been kind of intrigued by it > >

i really liked her colors too, so when i saw her in the auction house, i just knew i had to pick her up |D
Yeah, people do commission others to draw their dragons, usually with in-game currency, though I've also seen people having real-life money as a payment option. The dragons that are drawn usually tend to be located in the commissioner's own lair, of course (unless it's a gift for a friend or something, heh).
There's a LOT of customization options for the dragons, though! With three colors per dragon, and several gene combinations, PLUS the apparel (which is optional). The chances are pretty low for two dragons to look exactly the same, unless they're siblings with deliberately close-ranged parents.

(i should totally open up a shop there though at some point, it would be a pretty good source of income for me)
It's actually open for registration today (and do note that it's today only, and then they'll likely close it for a few months again), and you should definitely give it a shot! :D
