Description

Originally, I had the idea of it being a crossover between characters from Legend of Korra and My Little Pony with Twilight as Anna and Korra as Elsa. It was called "Crystaled". I made videos of them on youtube: (links bellow). But I started to lose the inspiration to write it and ended up doing only videos about it, I guess that's as far as I'll go. I'm not feeling inspired about writing it anymore, I was only inspired to make videos about it but that's pretty mush it. Then I remembered an earlier idea I had before, of re-telling Frozen but using characters from Korra and the Last Airbender! So I made a drawing about the two primary roles: everybody's favorite avatars playing the roles of Disney's rising princess stars.

I kept Korra as Elsa mostly because they do have a lot of similarities: both are fierce and selfless and only want to protect the ones they love, but at the same time they are both a time bomb ready to go off. They both want to feel free and they both have ice powers. Also, in the episode "The voice in the night" Korra was trying to "conceal" and "not feel" and "not let them know how she was really feeling. I know she has a lot of similarities to Anna as well, both are upbeat and cheerful but even Korra's not dumb enough to accept a marriage proposal on the spot. She's romantic, not desperate. I was going to have her keep her brown hair but I thought what if in the story her hair changes completely during her "exile" and changes back when she returns home. I kept it loose because let's all face it, she is hot in that look. Hey, girls can compliment each other's hotness without fear of being labeled as gay. I also added the snow dragon bird.

Aang is played by the gender-bender role of Anna. I could have chosen Katara sure, but I thought she could play the role of Krsitoff: the whole ice thing and being paupers and such, plus she works alongside her brother, and I didn't want Aang playing Kristoff anyway. Or Zuko, sorry I'm a kataang shipper, always have been and always will be. Aang is just as upbeat and playful as Anna and he is supper romantic. I based his outfit on Anna, his nomad outfit and the fire nation uniform he wears in the episode "The Headband".

I hope I didn't make his eyes too wonky, maybe a bit far apart but I think they look cute. It was getting late and when I'm tired sometimes my drawings come out a bit lazy looking, which wasn't the whole case her but still. I wake up at 4: 30 am to go to college.

I found the background on google and I do not own it, I simply modified the coloring for this drawing but I don't own it. I also do not own Avatar, Korra, or Frozen. This is non copyright material and not for profit.
