Description I know I've been pretty under the radar as of late, with the few exception of that new chapter for Lost Star, which is also available on FimFiction. Anyway, here is another promotional artwork staring the two main protagonists, Estelle and Akari.Β

While I do have my hands full with the continuous job searching, and another colab project, I have been dedicating a lot of my mental time to the story of Lost Star, and at this point I already am feeling very attached to the characters I made.

Now, in a note I received a few months ago, some friends of mine were concerned about some of my cast being "too similar" to the Mane Six. Well, in personality and roles, not in design. I wish to say I am grateful that they would be concerned to point that out, and I just want to ease their worries by saying, while yes they are INSPIRED (keep that word in mind) by characters from MLP and LoK, their personalities are FAR from being identical. I won't spoil anything, but I assure you guys I am doing my very best, at times tirelessly, to make sure that these characters have enough depth, and are flawed as well as likable.Β

When i said the story was inspired by The Little Pony Legend, I never intended to full a "Fifty Shades of Gray" where I take a fanfiction, edit it a bit and make it my own. I was mainly referring to creating a world that is inspired by the concept and atmosphere if LPL, as well as several ideas that over the years I started to feel, with some work, could have been presented in an original story, but I never fully dove into the possibility until last year while I was living in Florida with my sister and nieces.

So yes, I have drawn inspiration from series such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra and MLP:FiM for overall tone, atmosphere, and artistic style, but the story itself is based loosely on the works of John Bunyan and C.S. Lewis, with some "spiritual" sense of LPL. I also drew inspiration from the 2011 Thundercats series (rest in peace), films such as Moana, The Last Unicorn and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.

Anyway, just wanted to clarify a few of those things, so my friends can rest easily, as well as to know I am grateful for their concerns. You guys are the best!

Comment, like, favorite, or not, whatever you like. Hope to see more of these gals and more of the cast in the near future. God bless, *kiss, kiss*
