I’ve had people ask me this in the past and sometimes they don’t give credit to the artist as they should. Unless you give your word that you will give credit and send me a link to your Fanfiction to make certain I can’t allow you to use these drawings.

Thank you for the compliment 😊
And goving credit to an artist isnt too dificult. Simply mention the artists name either somewhere at the end of the story's synopsis and a link to my page. I also do commissions and, given the state of the world now, its my only sourced of income.

Of course. Whenever one uses an art that isn’t theirs it’s common curtesy to give credit to said artist. If not people will accuse you of theft, and believe me there are plenty of folks out there who will steal one’s art regardless of how the artist feels.

Actually, Shadow of Ronin was my friend Austin's idea. He's more more Ninjago than I have.

Funnily enough, when I was watching a Jim Carrey movie involving him and six penguins. I just replaced Jim with Mako and the penguins with the Mane Six. Then, I started playing with the characters in my head and, well I always loved making crossovers as a kid so.... it just happened and five years later I made an entire series out of it.
Still can’t believe it.

Eh, I’m kind of retired from the MLP crossover game.

Not really. I’m only doing one fanfiction right now and I don’t even believe I’ll finish it. I’m focusing more on original projects now a days.

It’s not that simple. Original stories take more time and effort, more so than fanfiction. With a fiction you have a world and characters to work with, original stories don’t have that advantage.

Wait, so I’m not the first person who you asked to use their art for fanfiction?
That doesn’t sound too good. And by that I mean a tad suspicious. I’m a very wary person when it comes to being online so that’s the reason I declined your offer to begin with.

I just asked him. But, if its alright with you, I will wait until he explains everything before I allow you to use my art.
Believe me, I hate to be one of those pompouse artists but seeing as art theft and online manipulation is a tragically real problem these days, and I dont know you that well, I cant take any chances.
I hope you understand

Either way, I’m going to be honest with you. I only said yes because I didn’t want to be rude but, I’m afraid I’m going to have to trust my instincts and say No. you can’t use my art. It’s not about Pyrus-Leonidas, I just don’t feel comfortable sharing my art with someone I just met. Unless I’ve known someone for a long time I can’t hand out my art all willy nilly.
Im sure you have good intentions but I don’t feel comfortable. I should have been more honest and kept to my original reply. I’m sorry and I hope you understand.
