This is my favourite! The quality is excellent. You used a Fujifilm FinePix for this, yes? I haveΒ the same make but mine is not as good. I'm looking to get a new one.

If you are on the market for a new one, depending on your need, I would strongly reccomend finding a Sony Cybershot. Granted I want to upgrade my camera body to a Canon T4i. I also own a Panasonic Luminix (DMC-FH25). Biggest drawback to the Cybershots is that you can't mount an external flash to the camera, other than that they are excellent pieces of equipment. with their ISO range now, the camera fact that it has a fixed lens makes it light so camera shake is minimal.
...That was probably longer and wordier than you had expected ^.^'
As for Fire Dancer, to preserve colors and vibrance of your work, it would be best if you could scan it and then color correct it (cameras and scanners both add blue to the photos). If you need a large format printer just call around to your local UPS, Kinkos, etc. for a cost estimate.

I'm not 100% on Ps for color editing anyway. Not to mention other scanned projects which I've wasted months of my life over! -_-'
