THANK YOU to Mori no Yosei for allowing me to use her graphic, here ([link] ), as a reference for this painting! The colours are so washed out when I convert to PNG, but still, finished, for the most part!Corel Painter airbrush.

Oh. My. Goodness. Just...awesome sauce.
Those eyes just stand out so amazingly. I thought for a moment that it was a photo, the contrast is so sharp and it's so detailed in the head/hat area. I think your (no doubt painstaking!) detailed pattern on the hat helps too.
Good golly. The chilly blues, greys, black and white are really perfect, totally gives it that intense, sharp feel like the show. And of course the placement (is it considered the "crop" if it's not a photo??) adds a lot of interest.

Hi Nero! XD So good to hear from you and I hope you're all right! The painting saved to PNG and a couple of things happened -- the details really smoothed out, and the colours muted some. But it still came out okay! XD

I still remember the WIP you posted of this with only the eyes done - and I was right, this has become an amazing peace of art!!
To paint the texture of the deerstalker must have been hell...

Oh-my-goodness! XD I didn't know if anyone but me would remember that! Lol! 
The background is airbrushing too, but in a much different style that (I guess) I use to suggest a shallower depth of field. This one [link] uses it in the extreme. You can see part of an exposed pipe, a blue recycling bin, and part of a door -- but it's really just about light value. (Trust me, I'm no pro!)

Oh! You're in luck -- sort of! They are green... but a mossy-green, which has some grey in it. You can check the original of Mori no Yosei (linked) for the kind of subtle green I'm talking about! Lol! I hope it's not a bad thing this painting reminds you of your ex-! If so, sorry!

Hi there! Glad you could drop by! I injured my arms awhile back, and couldn't really get to this, but... here it is! XD It was a great photograph and I hope I was able to do it justice!
