riven use alot of blades and swords^^, and ahri goes on CDR and AP without sustain. unholy + book = 34% CDR with like 400 AP at only 2,2k HP ^^

No sustain? Zhonya's grants 50 armor and 2.5 second invulnerability, whilst Athene's Unholy Grail gives 40 MR. The grail also eliminates all mana problems, and Will of the Ancients gives a 20% spell vamp on top of her passive. She's got plenty of sustain, just not pure, actual health. Sometimes I do swap out the Void Staff for a Rylai's Crystal Scepter depending on whether I'm facerolling or not. If I need more damage, I go for the spell pen, if I need some utility and defense, I'll go with the slow and health.
