Description

Around five thousand years ago, the Harvester Culture broke down within a short period of time, leaving little traces for future generations to discover, except some burned strata in settlement remains. And disconcerting mythology concerning the predecessors to the diverse divine pantheons that dominated the spiritual world until the end of the Roman republic. After long stagnation, population had been on the rise again, putting pressure on food and resources and strain on a cruel system that was rooted in slavery and cannibal slaughter and little prone to change.

The old masters rose to become gods, worshipped by new priests that grovelled and fawned before them. Not as dour and obstinate as the monks and neither as bothersome as the Magi, they prevailed.

But as old myths tell us, the elder gods fell. In madness they turned onto each other, waging war once again, and one by one, they fell. Some were cornered and burned with righteous fire, some fled to the vast fields of oblivion, to fade. Others went to their tombs, buried alive. A new generations of gods was enthroned by the nimble priests, if not less cruel, at least human, mortal, and malleable.

And yet, this new world would not have come into being without the Three, one beloved, one venerated and one - feared.

As a side note: This time I actually DID use a Royo for inspiration. Can you figure out, which one?

Great portrait!

So, which is she, the beloved, the venerated, or the feared. I must say, I have I already have my own though on what response it is.

Lol... yeah I guess she was always the ugly sibling of the three... but let's say not as hideous inside as the beautiful one nor as foolish as the wise one.

I would take the assomption that Magus is the wise one, but who might be the beautiful one ?

oh... no you haven't seen those before.

Since I'm a mean person, I actually left out the 'interesting parts' of Rakans story. But she teams up with a powerful Dakini shaman from the hidden village of Yian-Ho and a certain golden haired queen, to bring low the Yellow King himself.

Thanks ... Yeah I like that fur coat... But I've still a long way to go before I'll be satisfied with my portraits and closeups... oh well

All the same, with that feeling a constant it can only improve, improvement of course being a subjective thing. I look forward to seeing it.

Thanks... as I said, I tried to use some Royo stuff as inspiration, he's good, but not really much of an influence, like e.g. Frazetta or Brom or the like.

Jau.

Lol... now I know who Miranda Cosgrove is I'm not sure if she'd be amused to be mistaken for a Denisovan human (not precisely a Neanderthal, but close). On the other hand, let's not underestimate our one-less-sapiens relatives!

PSK-Projekt4D In reply to Magnus-Strindboem [2020-02-01 08:52:07 +0000 UTC]

Magnus-Strindboem In reply to PSK-Projekt4D [2020-02-01 11:45:26 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PSK-Projekt4D In reply to Magnus-Strindboem [2020-02-02 09:11:53 +0000 UTC]

Magnus-Strindboem In reply to PSK-Projekt4D [2020-02-02 11:48:19 +0000 UTC]
