Quibas!Hace algún tiempo mi compadre Alejandro “AXO” hizo bocetos de la épica batalla de Superman y Doomsday experimentando un nuevo estilo para animación en una escena de acción (él maneja varios estilos de dibujo). Finalmente la terminó en tinta & color y como en otras ocasiones quedamos que yo le haría el fondo y alguno que otro efecto extra.
Debo decir que en ésta ocasión tomé ideas de una imagen que vi (no supe quien sea el artista) y lograr una batalla más apocalíptica, ya saben… caos, destrucción, fuego.
¡¡Doomsday llegó!! (y a Superman se lo cargó el Payaso)

Hi there pals!
Time ago my partner Alejandro “AXO” made the sketch of this epic battle between Superman & Doomsday experimenting another stylish cartoon style in action scene, and finally he finished it. Also just like another images we decided I must made the background.
I must say I took some ideas from another image (I don’t know who was artist name) and try to do an apocalyptic battle, you know… chaos, destruction & fire.
Doomsday has come!!

Sry, in Germany the comics are way to expensive and I never really got into them...

Well, it´s been a while since Doomsday appears in the comics vs Superman. But if comics are difficult to get, there´s also an excelent animation you can see: [link]
Well, there´s also several animation chapters but this is a special movie really good if you want to see a brutal match between those antagonists.

Superman sent him to the begging of time where he faced something he could not over come. Entropy.

The animated film had some changes.
(1) Doomsday was the creation of an ultimate soldier, but being unable to tell friend from foe, he was sealed under the earth. Superman killed him, and then fell into a death-like coma. His tale was but the prologue to the Superman Clone.
(2) Mr. Kent was already dead, his wife a widow.
(3) Superman was cloned and the clone, like the earlier Bizarro, was imperfect ! He became an anti-hero and killed a Superman foe. He later almost killed Luthor.
(4) Superboy, Eradicator, Steel and Cyborg started when Superman died. Here the imperfect clone was most like Eradicator, but proved a threat like Cyborg.

great pic...it irritates me that superman got his ass handed to him in this fight, since he's my fave.
my question is..would the fight have been different if they were fighting in the DAY? remember in the animation they fought at night, and superman more or less depleted his sun batteries. however i think the fight would have been different in the sun, with superman having a constant supply of power.

cuando vi la imagen me regresó la nostalgia (bbbbbuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!......lloré cuando leí la muerte de supermán)....y luego leí tu comentario....a eso agrégale que hace unos minutos vi tu imagen de "ya te cargó el payaso" y....vualá.....me tienes frente al monitor dobándome de la risa....

Doomsday withstood the Omega Effect... not too many people can say that. Of course Doomsday cant speak.
Darkseid is a waaay better villain though.
