I think Casey is acting like a real hero here, putting himself infront of April, protecting her by being a human shield for her. He's saying that if you want to get her, you have to go through me when doing this and it shows how much of a hero he really is, wanting to risk his life like that for someone else. I have so much respect for people who do those kind of things.

I have yet to find a girl who likes a guy who is clingy and needy and those who do, usually break up with guys like that within a short matter of time. The same would be implied for Donnie.Β

I don't hate Donnie, I hate that Donnie is needy. I remember the 2003 version of Donnie where he was more of an independent guy. I'm not saying I am against the love interest thing, but if you ever saw the Justice League series, then Batman had a crush on Wonder Woman, but he wasn't needy after her. He was still Batman, but he had feelings for somebody else. I wish Donnie would jst be a little more like that. Still being Donnie, and do what Donnie does best, but also have a crush on Apill

On the cheek. Anyway, his attitude towards April is "She's cute, I like her, but I'm not going to be obsessed by her" which is why he is so awesome. His passion and mind is towards fighting crime and playing Ice hockey. His comment "Who wants a normal life anyway" is the exact kind of comment I think is badass. His hole attitude is being himself, and let that turn the way things go. He's a perfect role model for any guy!

Actually, the producers said that this is exactly the Casey we're gonna get. It's just like with the turtles; they're showing the road Casey took to become the 'lunatic' we all know and love (or not). So right at the moment, he's pretty normal, but I think the more he hangs out with April, the more he'll come into contact with mutants and the more he gets into contact with mutants, the more he'll turn into the original Casey Jones
