I'm a big fan of Tolkien, and I always liked to dwell on those characters who do not have much popularity, but in the history if they have.

I am too. Tokens the best in my opinion. And hey whether people like her or not, ElWing was an important character in tolkien's world. She brought the silmaril to her husband, thereby helping to save Middle Earth from morgoth. And the reward that the Valar gave her and return always sounded Heavenly to me, very happy to see someone else was intrigued by it too.
