More pages form my (almost) one-a-day sketchbook.
I've now decided my old book will continue to serve as observational practice while I can let my creative side run riot in this one. Started yet another one for more design and ideas based work too.

Significance of pages (top to bottom):

1. A girl on the train had these reeeeeeeeally cool boots on, which made me think of the Kirsty Macoll song 'In these shoes?' [link] jvaqVAFuLI
Not sure where the angel came from

2. Um, time. random musings about how nice some clocks' hands are. And then I turned some lecturers 3second diagram into a creepy little monster that in my head eats time, making you late

3. Chinese stuff. clichéd huh?

4. Octopus inspired by some work in Tristan Manco's book 'Street Sketchbook'. Hairdressing paraphernalia because he had to be holding SOMETHING

5. The dude with the sign is wearing a monicle, a top hat and a placard reading 'make tea not war'. The hat belongs to a friend, as does the nose beneath. The speech bubble are her memorable words while surveying her kitchen

6. ...not sure I can explain this

8. As children we develop a need to show space in our drawings. Thus sky is defined by the presence of 'birds'. Add a curved 'v' to an otherwise blank page and, voila, sky.

9. The beginnings of a graffiti based style of decoration
