"KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice."
WHO is Joseph Kony? He is THE WORST LIVING CRIMINAL. He abducts children and makes them use guns to kill their own parents. He takes girls and forces them to be sex slaves. He calls his abducted children the Lord’s Resistance Army, AKA the LRA. He has abducted over 30,000 children and forced them to be child soldiers in Central Africa. He remains at large because he is INVISIBLE to the world. FEW know his name, even FEWER know his crimes. WE ARE MAKING HIM FAMOUS! Because when he is, the world will unite against him and demand his arrest.

Hi Maikush,
I thought you’d like to know that thanks to the video, an organisation has given enough money to buy 50 bunk beds, mattresses, bed sheets, etc. for the kids. For the past 6 years they have been sleeping on a dirty floor. Soon they’ll have proper beds.

Now I'd love to get solar panels for them as there is no electricity there. It'll happen. I won't give up!

You have already helped by circulating the link. I am very grateful for that. So far the Pader Orphans Caring Project has not received any donation but it is early days I guess. It’ll happen! If you can carry on telling friends and colleagues to watch it and then forward it to others, eventually something will happen. I am now contacting the media and advertising agencies and see if they can help. I’ll let you know when something big happens. My first aim is to raise enough cash to buy beds for the orphans. For the past 6 years they have been sleeping on the ground without mosquito nets!

Great pic!
I am just back from Northern Uganda where I have started putting in place a counseling/Art Therapy service in an orphanage for former child soldiers and war orphans.
I have just finished editing a short movie clip I made while I was there. As you’ll see, I am no Coppola or iMovie genius, but I think it’s still OK. Well, it’s real! And have no fear, it’s not all doom and gloom, there’s a fun happy ending!
I’d really appreciate if you could forward it to everybody you know, and if possible, ask them to do the same. Hopefully it’ll help to promote the awareness and the sponsorship of war orphans at POCP.

It's amazing how easily the "sheep" fall for scams like these. But that's what happens when people don't think and follow blindly. Do you all fall for phishing emails as well?

"Educate yourselves"....Alright, that's your opinion I guess.
I won't even complain about how much I disagree with the link you sent, especially when it comes to the donation part. Nobody's forced to donate anything. My point of view? this movement is a great opportunity for people to get together and fight for a good cause. I've seen how you post this comment in many KONY 2012 drawings and stuff. Instead of wasting your time doing it, why don't you actually do something productive? :/

Oh no, I definitely agree that it's a good cause to support. It's just that posting links and using symbols or slogans used by the organization is going to direct people who view the image and the links to that organization. So those who want to donate their money to the cause are going to donate it where? Invisible Children. THAT is why I'm posting this. And I don't see how you drawing and posting it on a website is any more productive.

Mmmh...Still not agree with that. Invisible Children's doing a lot for those kids in Uganda, more than anyone ever did. Maybe they are taking a lot of money, but what else did you expect? Traveling so many times to Africa and making advertisment is not FREE. We live in a world moved by money, it's the truth :/. I mean, US's not moving because let's be frank, what would they win?. It's harsh but that's the truth. That's why Invisible Children's spending money. Look how much attention they have now. Plus, thanks to them, so many people's actually SEEING what's going on. It's amazing how they're all moving now, from all over the world.
And about the drawing? It helps. I helps because when I post in on Facebook, people actually asked me what was going on. It catches their eye

Maybe not, but they're still trying to move people to actually do something. I mean, once they capture (if they do) Kony, let's face it, someone will take his place. the world's cruel like that. But starting with Kony, to show everyone what he's done, and show them it's real, try to make them part of this movement, everything counts. Because we start with Kony, but we'll keep moving
