Description
Here is a redo of an older, much smaller painting I did for a friend. I've decided to push myself a little further with style and rendering of the watercolour.It's not quite where I'd like it to go, but it's close and I'm very happy of the end result for a first try!

J'ai tendence a perdre un peu de profondeur quand je scanne mes trucs. C'est pas volontaire, je pense que l'aquarelle va toujours me donner de la misère au scan malheureusement. C'est dommage un peu.

Ouin, bin je crois que c'est malheureusement un peu normal. Un scanneur ne pourra jamais donner un aussi beau resultat que l'original. C'est domage en effet, mais tes imprimer sortent bien en general a ce que j'ai pu voir ce qui est super! Hormis un dessin a l'ordinateur directement, rien ne peut aussi bien sortir sur ecran ...

Oh my! Thank you so much Nicole! I tried so much to put narrative elements in this piece in particular, tried to give each character a different expression or pose and also put lots of time into the composition. I'm glad to hear that it shows a little!

While the Mermaid's fin looks rather thin, I love the details in the water and the smooth texture the whole thing has.
