Description I'm just churning out memes, aren't I?
This one is for the lovely Glee fanfic "Dalton" (which, to be honest, is the only fanfic I've ever read and liked)
Can't wait for the next chapter...

Oh, and I would so totally fit in in Windsor house (if I were a boy and fictional)

Anyway, Glee, Kurt, Blaine, Wes and David are all Β©Fox. Dalton and the rest of the boys are Β©CP Coulter

Yeah. Well, he did have at least one, possibly two last year (we'll find out about the Logan/Josh situation soon. CP said on her tumblr that she was going to post ch 25 this weekend. Be still my beating heart).

But I'd be soooo happy if he and Julian got together. It doesn't sound like it's going to happen in canon, but a girl can dream, right?

a girl can totally dream - I keep dreaming about a chance to Rane to happen and it didn't happen yet... but Logan HAVE to be with Julian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maitia In reply to Klaine-ish [2011-05-13 23:29:15 +0000 UTC]

I'm pretty confident Rane IS going to happen. It seems that way from what CP says on her tumblr. Jogan, though. She's very tight-lipped about that. She doesn't want to give us too much hope.
But seriously. Never have I wanted to shake a fictional character so much and shove him in a closet with another fictional character till I hear makeout noises.
The angst and frustration!

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-15 23:39:17 +0000 UTC]

It's just not fair, is it? I mean, they always make sure to ruin the Christmas holidays by setting exams in January, so you have to revise all the time. I mean, honestly, I don't think I've had a Christmas when I wasn't stressed since before I went to college.

On the upside, though, I've just (more or less as I type, in fact) finished revising for my oral on Monday AND arranged "Days of Summer" from AVPS as a four-part harmony for our choir. I feel so happy!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-16 14:08:36 +0000 UTC]

Oh, yeah. Ther are exams at taht tyime, aren't there? My mother is attending to Psychology in the University and she does have a lot of exam and presentations. That sounds like a really awful Christmas.

Oh, so you're all set then! You're in choir? That's cool! I am also a part of a choir, but only in church.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-16 14:31:28 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it's not a bucket of laughs. But there you have it: exams are evil. Empirical proof!

Yup. Well, actually it's not so much a choir as a quintet, because I've sung in a lot of choirs before and would like to try something different. I also sing in a church choir, and so the genre of music you get to sing there is kind of limited. Also, most of the other choirs I'm in (or have been in) are classical choirs, so I need some rhythm now! And some A Very Potter Musical music, obviously!

Woohooo... choir high-five!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-16 18:36:16 +0000 UTC]

XD *high-fives back*
AVPM songs are really cool. I still haven't watched the first musical whole becausewhen I get to watch it, it's always time for supper or to do something my parents tell me to.
I'd love to be a part of a Classical choi. I love to sing.
And what other songs have you lot sung?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-16 19:25:00 +0000 UTC]

Ohnoes!
YOU. NEED. TO. GO. WATCH. NOW!!!!

Yeah, it is great, it's just also nice with a bit of variation.
Well, we in the quintet haven't actually sung anything together, because we only got this thing together in January and everybody's busy with exams. But in the other choirs I've sung loads. Like Lascia ch'io pianga, Let it be, (a lot of) Ave Maria, Ave Verum Corpus, Sanctus Benedictus (also a lot of them), classical English Christmas carols, bits from Evita etc etc. And lots and lots of hymns and psalms.
Oh, and the director of the church choir asked me to arrange "When you believe" from the film "The Prince of Egypt" as a three-part harmony for us and we're going to sing it at the spring concert. Can't wait.

Also, for the quintet, I've arranged Eliza Doolittle's "Pack Up" as a four-part harmony, so we can sing that as well.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-17 17:57:58 +0000 UTC]

Oh, like that kind of celtic or even religious musics.
aww, I love "When you believe"! have you heard Celtic Woman's cover of it? I keep singing it all the time because my voice is really similar to the singer that performs that song.

And I've finished watching AVPM!
omg, it was hilarious! I never thought I'd ship Voldemort and Quirrell, but I do now.
I must watch AVPS soon!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-17 19:05:08 +0000 UTC]

No, I haven't, but I'm going straight on YouTube now to check it out!

Yay!
I know, right?
I also have a strange craving for Quirrellmort. It's funny and toe-curlingly awkward at the same time.

Yes, go watch it as soon as possible! I just (literally. I mean, like 5 minutes ago) finished re-watching it as my reward for acing my oral exam today, and I'd forgotten how totally awesome it is.
It is less-than-three. (You'll understand when you've seen it)

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-17 20:34:55 +0000 UTC]

yay, did you like it?

Yes, I wonder how I had not thought of that pairing before, being such a big slasher....I think I'll re-watch the Philosopher's Stone this weekend only to giggle at inaportunate times.

The totally awesome thing I get. that other reference...Now I need to watch it!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-17 21:04:31 +0000 UTC]

Hmm... It was good, but a bit too Celine Dion for my taste. I don't really like the Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey version either. I prefer the original version that hasn't been "styled up" so much, if you know what I mean?

Heh. I don't want to think about the canon Quirrell and Voldemort pairing up. That'll just mess with my head. I prefer the AVPM version.

But go watch AVPS now!
Philosopher's Stone and inappropriate giggling can wait. (Although it does sound tempting...)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-17 21:24:31 +0000 UTC]

yeah, i do know what you mean. It's more true to the heart of the song.
But i do like celtic arragements, that's why i usually listen to the Celtic Woman covers.

Of course! There's also the fact that the actors in AVPM are super hot.

I'll maybe watch AVPS this weekend. Gotta draw now.And paint with watercolours. And make a logo. And a poster.*phew*

And inppropriate giggling is a must for any kind of show/film.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-17 22:04:28 +0000 UTC]

Oh, yes they are.

Wow, sounds like you have quite a lot of things on your plate, too.

Oh, definitely. I've lost count of the times I've started giggling during the HP films. And Lord of the Rings as well.

Actually, my friend and I once had this amazing giggle-experience:
We were in the theatre, watching the dramatisation of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials. One of the actors was playing a character with a chameleon on his shoulder (it was his dæmon; a sort of animal spirit, or familiar), and when I saw him with that chameleon on his shoulder, my mind instantly played a scene where the chameleon turned its head very slowly and licked him really fast in the ear in that special way they flick their tongues.
And I cracked up.
And then I mimed it to my friend, who also started giggling. When we looked back up at the stage, the actor was staring at us.
And then, very slowly, he winked at us and did the same mime!

I'm telling you: I could not breathe for ten minutes, I was laughing so hard!

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-17 22:48:14 +0000 UTC]

My plate is, indeed, very full, but it is very rewarding.

Lord of the Rings is efinitely giggling material.
lol, is that for real? I think I would have had to exit the room due to the laughter!

Ah, just yesterday I watched Merlin's 1st episode of the Season 3 and King Cendred said "I do not think with my sword." When i thought of the alternative, I laughed so hard. And my mother looked at me like I had grown an extra head. I am such a pervert.

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-18 00:17:47 +0000 UTC]

OMG! I watch Merlin too. Why did I not pick up on this? Noes! My inner pervert is dying! I must feed it smut this very instant!

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-18 15:43:19 +0000 UTC]

Really? I love Merlin, though I have only watched the 3rd Season's first two episodes, because I was waiting for it to air on my country.

Need to feed the smut bug? Read fanfiction. That's what I do.And write it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-18 20:51:32 +0000 UTC]

Oh, you're in for some fun, if you're only just getting started on season three. And some Colin Morgan adorkableness.

Well, when I said smut, I didn't mean fanfiction smut. That sort of messes with my head and not in a good way. I just need to get my old, dirty way of thinking back. The one that makes me snort in pervy amusement at a statement that could be misunderstood, thirty seconds before it dawns on everybody else.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-18 21:53:21 +0000 UTC]

And Colin Morgan is so cute.

Yeah, i understood the kind of smut you meant. The fanfiction smut also messes with my brain, but I love it!XD
I have a friend that has a mind just as twisted as mine and it is so much fun when he start giggling together and no-else understands.

lol, I guess it would be werid for you, then if she kept you sending those looks. You'd be wondering "omg, what am I doing wrong?"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-19 23:46:16 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, if it happened often, I'd want therapy, because it's a warning sign. I just know that Lisa is going to be one of those seemingly harmless, adorable old people who freak everybody out whenever they open their mouthes because they're so pervy when you least expect it.

I'll settle for becoming (or remaining?) annoyingly cheerful and slightly batty when I get old.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-29 15:49:41 +0000 UTC]

lol, I love those people. Usually they are really funny because you never know what to expect.
I'll probably end up like lisa, then.

Yeah, and it's always a hundred times funnier if it's unexpected.

Good! The world needs more people to be like Lisa! She's soo funny!

By the way, we had the second quintet meeting yesterday and it was just supermegafoxyawesomehot! My cheeks were actually hurting me when I got home, because I'd been smiling and laughing so much! AND we sang this one: [link]

Only, arranged with two girls' voices and two boys' voices, obviously. We didn't get through it all, but we got started and it was just hilarious. Turns out, I'm not the only nerd in our little choir. (this song was suggested by the tenor, RenΓ©)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-01-29 21:11:30 +0000 UTC]

ahah, that must have been so much fun to do! I laughed so hard throughout the video.
I don't think I'd manage to keep a straight face while singing it, though.
I'd love to hear you guys sing.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-29 21:25:12 +0000 UTC]

It was! I couldn't help giggling as we sang "Kiss a wookie, kick a droid.."
And OMG when we got to the part with the theme from "Jaws" and RenΓ© started doing the Chewbacca grunts!

Well, it would be fun to sing for someone. Or to perform in some way. Although, as we're only just getting started, we need to build up a repertoire before we can even think about that.
Once, when we're all rich and insanely famous, maybe we'll come to Portugal and sing for you..

OMG! Some fireworks just went off outside my window! I nearly screamed, I was so surprised!

Hmm... I'd better keep her off dA. And ff.net.

On a completely random note, I was just invited to an Arabic wedding. Should be fun. I've only ever been to a wedding once before and I was little, so I don't remember much of it.

And you've only been to a wedding once in your life?!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-01-30 23:10:50 +0000 UTC]

Just read it and it's adorably cute in a they're-both-so-cluesless kind of way.
Awww....

Apparently, very much so. I saw a video of the engagement party (with 300+ guests) and it was... lively. There was folk dancing and people lifting other people up on chairs, dancing and everything.

Ooops. I have been to two weddings, now I think of it, but for the first (Protestant) one, it was only the party afterwards, and for the second (Catholic) one, it was only the service in the church, and I wasn't there as a guest; I was there as a singer.
I guess the two half weddings count as one whole, right?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-02-03 21:03:23 +0000 UTC]

d'aww, thanks. I am glad you liked it.

yay, that sounds like a lively wedding! I like to dance at weddings. It's the one opportunity I have to dance without being embarrassed.

I went only to Catholic weddings because that's the most common branch of religion in my country. But he had the service and the party was big nonetheless. There were many drunken people and foolish dance moves. I love weddings.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-02-03 22:54:24 +0000 UTC]

I can never dance without feeling embarrassed. NEVER. EVER. Lucky you.

Well, the Protestant wedding party may have been lively too, but I just remember being bored out of my wits. I was like 8 or something, so that's really all I can recall.

Oh, yeah, I'd imagine. I lived in Spain for a year (that was actually when I went to the Catholic wedding) and I'd imagine the proportion of catholicism to other religions there is probably very similar to Portugal.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-02-04 22:02:27 +0000 UTC]

lol, I'm just the kind of person that people believe to be crazy, so it's easy for me to do weird stuff.

lol, at eight anything's boring!

Yeah, Spain and Portugal are very similar in religion matters. On an unrelated note, Spain is the most open-minded.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maitia In reply to kironomi [2011-02-04 22:31:35 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I've got that crazy vibe going on too, but I still don't like dancing. I just don't like it. I feel like a frog in a blender: all arms and legs and somebody's going to get hurt.

Exactly. Anything that doesn't have kittens or candy is just yet another boring thing.

Spain is more open-minded? I didn't know that. But then I don't really know much about Portugal, to be honest. I've only ever been twice, and that was just on holidays. Not like Spain where I lived for a year and then again for half a year.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kironomi In reply to Maitia [2011-03-05 00:15:16 +0000 UTC]

Ah, did you like it in Spain?
(and sorry for the delayed reply)

They certainly do.
Especially when you're eight, but it works when you're 24, too.

Yeah, I loved it. I lived with this absolutely wonderful family and taught the two children English. It was lovely and I learned so much Spanish as well. And made a lot of friends, not to mention recorded a cd with a choir.
The second time was cool, too, but it was different because I was there as an Erasmus student. I shared a flat with some pretty awesome people and sang in the university choir, which was absolutely wonderful. I really miss that. And the people from the choir as well.
