Whew! I finally finished it!Kurt, Blaine and Logan from that famous scene in chapter 16 (3..2..1) of "Dalton" where Kurt confesses to Logan and Blaine overhears it. Please ignore the horrible background. I'm just bad a backgrounds because I usually don't bother doing them.
I melted into a puddle of fangirl joy when I read that, so obviously it was just a matter of time before I did some fanart featuring that moment.

I wanted to see this scene drawn, and I have to say I'm happy about it. Only problem I can see is (cept for the background) is Kurt's hair color. I love how it's chaded, and all, but I imagine it a little darker. Don't listen to that though, I just feel the need to find something wrong with this.

I agree with you that Kurt's hair should be darker. I think I tend to make him blonde, which he isn', really.

Blaine's expression makes me smile~ So damn happy. I can almost feel his heart beating wildly against his chest 'cause he's so excited 8D. But I'm kind of wishing we could see Logan's expression... maybe something for a head shot picture? >w> *nudge* *nudge*

I would love to write a critique, but sans premium membership, I can't so I'm going to do it here.
Alright, so first off, I have never read this fanfiction before but I can tell exactly what is happening in this scene from your picture (that is an AMAZING thing, just so you know.) The backround may be plain, but I think it suits this picture very well, as your eyes are now focused on the drama happening in the front. I like how the one boy (I believe his name is Logan) is turned inward for it gives it a kind of flair and makes it seem more like a real photograph. I adore Kurt's expression. There is so much emotion in that face, I cannot stand looking at it for too long. That is some very good craftsmanship there.
However, I am personally not a big fan of Blaine's face. I find it very lacking compared to Kurts. In any other picture, I would look perfectly fine but I think it's a bit too almost cartoon-y for this one. I do still enjoy the face, I would just prefer something a bit different, that's all.
Overall, this is a very nice piece of art and is something I look forward to seeing again and again.

I can sort of see your point about Blaine's face. I blame the eyes, or more precisely, the irises. Whenever you draw people with small irises, the general effect is that they look cartoonish. That was never my intention here, and I'm not really satisfied with Blaine's eyes. I just wanted him to look astonished, but I think I went overboard there. I'll probably revisit this scene some time anyway. I want to sort out the background and Blaine.

It did. I was sort of just vaguely unsure about Blaine, but your critique made me look critically at him and realise what was wrong.
And I also felt the need to draw Blaine or, well, Darren, so that's what I'm doing now. I've actually got quite far, so I may post a wip of it i an hour or so.

Well, that's probably more or less exactly what he was feeling at that moment, so I'm glad I seemed to get it across.
Seriously, I'm slowly getting buried in all the fluff. I may have to reread all of Dalton when I get home from work today (my boss just asked me to take an extra long shift and, stupid as I am, I agreed to it. D'oh! I'll need Daltonic therapy when I get home)
