SPOILERS FOR HARRY POTTER 7Young Grindelwald sketches. I wanted to show him both pretty and polite, but also to have his dark moments, and I hope I succeeded.
My heart broke for Dumbledore, when I found out, how he had loved Grindelwald. Ahhhh.....tragic lovestory: My favourite!

I love the pose where he is looking down.... very subtley dark. Great expression, very soft line.

I'm definitely going to draw more Gellert, for although he's mentioned very few times, he really facinated me and totally pwned Voldemort as the evil genius. And he charmed Dumbledore and took advantage of his love and trust. Voldemort's feeble charming of Hepzibah Smith is nowhere near as cool as Gellert's evil schemes with his blue-eyed buddy. In short: There shall be more Gellert fanart. For it is good.

I must admit that I too adore ridiculously pretty boys (mmm.... Cillian Murphy!), but I thought, it would be too....boring and stereotype to do it like that. So thanks for your thoughts. Appreciate it and I agree with you.
Wouldn't you love it, if, in the HP encyclopedia, Jo told us the entire story of Dumbledore and Grindelwald? Ah.... I would be wallowing in tragedy and crying happily ALL THE TIME!

Awww, thanks. Don't worry, I'll draw them together. I just need the proper face for Dumbledore, 'cause at the moment I just can't nail him.
