Description This is fan-art that was given to me based on a short story I wrote. The story was a letter by a soldier who is involved in a special ops project with some unusual consequences.

The writing is all mine but the art is done by my friend (who asked me not to credit them for it).

A zappy story that relates to war? Kerina, you never cease to amaze me. Of all of the topics I've read, this is one of the most unexpected. Oh, and the way it's set up is just wonderful. The way it looks like a letter, the way the guy speaks, it all flows together well. When I clicked on this and saw the letter, I immediately thought to myself how awesome that was.

Very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing how this is explained. ^^

*hugs*

You did a good job with this.

the person writing the letter isn't as great a writer as you are, in my opinion - not by far - but that just makes it more realistic.

That story came out great, and your friend did a great job making it look like a real letter. Too bad the font didn't have apostrophes though.

Yeah. That was a shame. Thanks for your response. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on this one, even from people who take my writing with a more critical eye ^^.

Do you submit stuff to more literary-oriented websites? I haven't scraped up enough courage to do that myself.

I'm not sure which to try at. I just usually keep it personal areas and such.

I actually have other areas that I'm trying to get my work pushed through in.

Though I would love to take some more writing courses in the future.

*nods* I'm just taking the sort of academic writing to teach at the junior college level. I loath most creative writing classes I've taken. I would like to study techniques and things like "What the crap are the precise grammar rules for dialogue in sentences? Where does the comma go there?" that would be nice. General grammar this last semester helped.

I never cared to focus on grammar and punctuation all that much. It my concentration away from the story and where I want things to go. Besides that what editors are for.

I'd love to have a screenwriting course or creative writing course that would focus on story rhythm, plot, character development, and all that fun stuff.
