Ladies and gentlemen (and everybody else), the first drawing that I did in that Sketchbook app I got last March (specifically March 12, 2019)! This one here is a drawing that I originally did the week beforehand, which, bizzare happenings alert, was when I actually got locked out from my Deviant Art account, and the only way I could access it in that time was by going LTE! (From March 6 to March 9 was when this happened) Needing something to do during that time period until it got resolved (which, obviously and thankfully, it did), I went ahead and made a whole series of drawings in Drawing Desk that involve Gumball in this art style at a beach with the swimsuit and sunglasses he wears here (the latter being the same sunglasses he wore in my first Gumball/Super Smash Bros. crossover [which also had this art style], which I released as my second Deviant Art upload from Sketchbook after Babs Bunny Playing with Portals).

And then I started wanting to see if there were any free drawing apps that have more tools to work with than Drawing Desk does. That was when I found Sketchbook, which listed one of its updates as no longer having a trial version, therefore being free for anyone to use now! Intrigued by their previews, I downloaded it, imported the original version of Gumball and Penny standing in front of an ocean together, drew the outlines again, used separate layers for each individual color, used another layer for adding those white lines you see on the ocean here, and then used the layer opacity feature to add shading and shadows!

Needless to say, this took a cute little drawing I did in Drawing Desk and made it look even better, and managed to raise my artistic capabilities to a higher level than I previously thought would be possible on my iPad (as demonstrated by every drawing I put out since Babs Bunny Playing with Portals)! I’ll be dropping the other Gumball Summer drawings I did throughout this season, including one that was made in Sketchbook rather than being remade from Drawing Desk into Sketchbook like the others.
