The 25 Days of Deviant Art, Day 10: Tulip and Ryo.

And now comes the very first of the two Cartoon Network and Sega crossovers I have this month! (Unless you count the Sonic and Gumball crossover that isn’t a preview for Multiversal Collide) When I started making my list of cartoon/game counterparts back in 2019 (even before both Summer Camp Island and Infinity Train were announced to move from Cartoon Network to HBO Max for their third seasons), this was one of the easiest ones for me to come up with due to kinda similar natures in tone with their premises, Tulip Olsen of Infinity Train (Book One, I might add) being a game designer on a bizarre train searching for clues to help her find a way back home and Ryo Hazuki of Shenmue being a martial artist who travels through Japan and China seeking to avenge his father who was murdered. The fact that the roster for this mega crossover that I’m currently making was laid out in 2019 after the OK K.O.!/Sonic special is, of course, the reason why Tulip of all characters is the one I went with, Infinity Train being a show separated by ‘Books’, as they call their seasons, that each have a different main cast. This, along with being my first ever Infinity Train drawing, is also my second Shenmue drawing after Sega Vs. Capcom from that very same year (which, you guessed it, also makes this my first drawing for those games after I came out as transgender last April).

Infinity Train is owned by Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network.
Shenmue is owned by Sega.
