Description
In the Late Pleistocene of southern California, the hawk-like giant eagle Amplibuteo woodwardi catches a jackrabbit, pins it down with its huge talons and eats it alive all while keeping the quarry safe from other predators with its huge 3-meter-wide wingspan. But despite its impressiveness it is still one of the least-known of all prehistoric birds of prey, and I want to see more artwork of it come alongside other birds from the La Brea Tar Pits from where this particular bird comes from.
Just for the end of 2019 and the start of 2020! An old decade passes and a new one takes its mantle!
