Okay so if you read this and thought Kyo from Fruits Baskets...I am very sorry but this (obviously) is not him. Instead it is an even cooler (in my opinion, I don't want to be hung for dissing the cat Kyo <.<; ) anime character. The name's Kyo from the Anime/Manga Samurai Deeper Kyo. I think the show was/is pretty popular in Japan but it doesn't seem to have as large of a following here. Though I DID get a Kyo plushie at the last con
Anywho, if you're ever gonna look into this show, please please stick to the manga. The anime is okay, but the only real good thing about it is the whole ending part...other than that they completely cut out ALOT from the manga and it's just...not that great. Though of course, the manga has 32+ volumes which would be $320 (not including tax) <.<; So that's the subject of this image, Kyo from Samurai Deeper Kyo. (c) of Akimine Kamijyo

Now for image info.
...the smudge brush is my best friend. Without it Kyo would either have very poorly done messy hair or no messy hair at all. Also the kanji symbols (that read Samurai Deeper Kyo) would not have come out very well either. So yeah plenty of post work involved in the hair x.x;
And that *points to the katana with a grin* is the DaZ Katana that I FINALLY bought. Sure it was only $4 but I never got around to buying it til recently. And I'm so happy that I did, I needed that prop a whiiiiile ago so now I finally have it. Though Kyo's Katana is Gold and Blue...so I'll fix that coloring another day <.<; But I DID make the Kimono's texture It even has the Ying Yang on the back ^_^

And now that I've said more than enough, enjoy the pic! And feel free to leave w/e comments and questions about the pic...just don't be too mean okay (with criticism and such)? <.<;
