personally i think they made her look more like a tough small person with a lot of energy and i like the contrast to the more meek and docile looking marina, but yeah some of the poses she is in during the announcement do make her look like she would punch your lights out if you looked at her wrong. edit: but not gonna lie tiny somewhat mean characters with a bite to them have been a thing with me since i read Negima partially due to Evangeline being one of my favorites because of how animated and fun she was to watch.
