Chicago and Northwestern railroad, Chicago, Ill. (LOC) 1942 . Part of a set from a Library of Congress collection of public domain photographs taken in color in the early 1940's with cameras using larger formats than 35mm. Titles can be searched on the LOC site or by going to Flikr and searching under the title "Library of Congress." Photographs have been cropped slightly and the color and contrast adjusted to be more favorably displayed.Related content

Wow. I love it, and I love trains!
There are a few things I would do differently if it were myself taking the shot, but oh well.
Do you know who the original photographer is/was by any chance?

I do not know who the photographer was but the Library of Congress site might have that information.
