I knew I wanted my next picture to be Original Characters--but I was at a loss of what to draw for a while. Digging though an old sketchbook though, I found this little doodle and knew it was the one.And so here we are! It's an older version of Rowena and Casimire from Ethereal Dreams being sparkly and awesome together! The two of them are probably my favourite 'may or may not be canon I don't know' couple out of my OCs. >.> They're just really adorable together.
As is becoming familiar story, Aly helped me out and made the awesome fire for me. I tried really hard to do it myself this time! Honest!
Hurrah for lame titles.

Much pretties. Your lighting shading-wise has improved vastly in a very short time. Can't really think of any crits atm (shockity shock) cept my thoughts on the moon which you already know lol. Nice comp, rowena's magic effect and accompanying lighting are really really fantastic.
Okay, did think of one crit though it's really minor. It'd be nice to have the lines of row's wings fade into her back more gracefully. Stands out a bit to me awkwardly now.
Anyway, lovely lovely, keep it up.

I actually did shrink the moon a little from all the previews I shared during the creation. xD Guess that means I didn't shrink it enough. xD
Hmm, I should fix the wings for the printing version. That's an easy fix.

Yes - the annoying kind that always seems to blow from behind when I'm out walking and puts all my hair in my mouth.

hahaa Yes I can see that too. I know somewhere I have a comic of him grumbling about not being able to read the words in a book and Rowena teasing him that the words are easy to see.
I love the dynamic of Older Rowena and Casimire. Ship my own characters--! Man, there is no better Marina than Ethereal Marina Dreams.

I'm totally jealous of his hair lol, this turned out amazing and fun to look at.
What I said on msn still stands, love the soft expressions, the atmosphere the whole drawing gives me, the coziness the fire presents and the magical sparkle from the light, and last but not least this worldly feel it all gives me. Great job love ^^
