Everything about this is beautiful, but I really want to comment on your color choice for the cardinals; you normally think of them as being vibrant red, but here, they're more dull and fit in well with the bluish-grey, cold, dreary winter atmosphere. Also, love your understanding of anatomy!Β

Thank you! Yeah, the birds was more bright at first, but they took too much attention that way. I wanted them to be just as accent, but not the center of composition. So I made them more dull, and it worked! Glad you like it

The use of depth of field here is very good.Β I love the blurring effects around her to show what's closest and what's furthest away.Β The birds have a lot of detail on them, and I love her hair.Β She must be freezing though.

this is very well done! I love how you used the lighting and shading effects to really make the young lady and the birds closest to her the focal point of the picture. I also really like how you created depth by building a solid background and foreground for the character to fall between. fantastic work!!!
