well... yeah, that's pretty much right. religion is quite horrifying indeed. many like to dance around that fact, but we know what unjustified beliefs leads many to do. just recently a mother slit her childs throat because she was told that the world is gonna end May 21st... I am of course NOT stating that all religious people are this frenge, however the fact remains, Religion harms more that helps...
