Description
I've made the drawing for this after reading written testimonies of people who survived the Warsaw uprising 1944.....The horrors these people lived through are beyond words, and beyond images. It's beyond imagination of any person who's reading this, me included.
My silly little image doesn't even try to begin to illustrate it, because I can't and I probably never will be able to. But I can say this:
Never again.
Nigdy więcej.

unfortunatly theese things and even worse are still happening everyday.
but our minds are anesthetized against horror, the worse thing is that war is becoming the common in our vision of society...

You have a dramatic and old style, things aren't made to look cool, just to prove a point, the colors are well chosen and even thou, as you said, the drawing can't ilustrate what those poeple felt, it gives us an idea.

it's impossible to even fathom the true horrors of reality, but
i enjoy the dark composition regardlessly. the texturing is
very impressive, and the fire in the background (or setting sun?)
makes up for a great and vivid contrast with the numerous of
meshed bodies and gore.
even being labeled as a sole "survivor," the expression of his face
says otherwise.

I really like this drawing. As always your colour use is amazing. Very expressionistic, which is the perfect method for showing the emotion behind it
