Yeah yeah, I fixed it. My fingers have been getting tangled in knots on this keyboard. X3
The way I figure it, there's "Grunts," "Administrators," and "Executives" in Team Gridlock. Obviously the lowest of the low is the Grunt, which is practically like any Trainer, though not necessarily restricted to just Dark or Poison creatures. The Administrators are essentially the equivalent of Gym Leaders, and they each typically take command of a specific town/city. Finally, the Executives are like the Elite Four, overseeing all operations of the organization in general.
Naturally, if the Executives are taken down, the whole organization falls.

It's my fingers that seem to have the problem. X3
I'd imagine there to be five executives, one being the overall head of the organization.
As far as the concept goes, the Administrators are basically your "Gym Leaders" during the first go-around; if you plan to take down the Gridlock Executives you'll need 8 key chips (your badges of sorts) to get into the building, and each one is held by an Administrator.
When the organization is defeated, the second go-around is more "normal," with actual Gym Leaders in the towns, and an actual Elite Four and Champion. Naturally, they'll be harder to beat.

Yeah. Like I mentioned before, I liked the way Gold/Silver worked things by offering a new experience after beating it the first time. This aims to do the same kind of thing, except you're on the same map, you have most of the HM's already, and it sorta continues the story, showing what happens "a year later."
I've thought about how, when beaten a second time, "Master Chalengers" would appear in certain places to *really* test your skills. And not in the "Battle Frontier" way.

Right, and I remember you mentioning a way to incorporate your old Pokemon team into the game after you reach the end of the first story. Question is though, does this become practical? Because in Black and White they didn't allow you to transfer your old team until after beating the Elite Four once.

Well, the transfer is an option. But it presents a different version of the story, and a slightly different experience.
As I recall, what with Team Gridlock's full control, there are already a lot of limitations. Your party on hand is immediately taken from you (you'll have to rescue them in addition to beating Gridlock), and when you first access the PC you'll only be able to take out Pokémon up to Lv. 20. Defeating each Administrator will increase the limit by increments of ten, until the last Administrator lets you take out Lv. 100 Pokémon.
I'd also expect the "veteran" campaign to be a little tougher, with trainer-type battles using slightly higher-level Pokémon than if you played the "newbie" campaign. It would at least compensate for the benefits of having your transferred Pokémon.

If you can transfer your old team, could you be given the option to skip the first story with Gridlock, and just proceed to the regular Gym battles and Elite Four?
Personally I think that would be a bad idea. There's a story to tell, and just skipping it all seems a bit wasteful. Plus you'll only be left with half the game to play.

Well, no I don't think it would be a good idea to just skip it. But let's just say a player would want to, could it be a possible option?

I wouldn't consider it.
